Welcome to Just Peculiar, a Yorkshire-based family business bringing together quirky gifts, alternative accessories and clothing for people who like things a little different.
We believe the things you wear, carry and surround yourself with should make you smile, show off your personality and, occasionally, make someone ask, “Where did you get that?”
From unusual earrings and necklaces to quirky pin badges, graphic T-shirts and tote bags, everything at Just Peculiar is either carefully handpicked or handmade by us. If we wouldn’t wear it, gift it or secretly want to keep it ourselves, it probably isn’t making it onto the website.
Because normal is fine.
But peculiar is much more fun.
How Just Peculiar Began
Just Peculiar started life as a little Etsy shop around three years ago, founded by sisters Amy and Sarah, with plenty of support behind the scenes from Sarah’s husband, Craig.
The idea was simple: create the kind of shop we wanted to find ourselves.
A place filled with quirky, unusual and alternative finds, without the hefty price tag. Somewhere you could arrive looking for a brilliantly peculiar gift for somebody else and accidentally leave with something for yourself too.
But there’s another part to our story.
Around the time Just Peculiar began, Amy was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience became part of the story behind our breast cancer and mastectomy T-shirts, creating designs inspired by something very personal to our family.
What started as a small creative outlet has gradually grown into the Just Peculiar you see today.

We don't fill our shop with things just because they're fashionable.
Amy and Sarah personally choose the products you'll find at Just Peculiar, looking for pieces that catch our eye, make us laugh or simply feel a little bit different.
Some of our products, including our T-shirts, tote bags and selected pin badges, are handmade by us. Others are carefully sourced from suppliers and chosen because they're exactly the kind of thing we'd happily wear ourselves.
And we're not finished making things yet. As Just Peculiar grows, we're planning to introduce even more handmade pieces, including our own jewellery.
The result is an ever-growing collection of quirky accessories, unusual jewellery, alternative clothing and peculiar little treasures that have one thing in common: personality.

Sarah: The Dreamer
Usually found with a good book, a cup of tea and a pocket full of ideas, Sarah believes life is made brighter by cosy corners, woodland walks and the little treasures that make you smile.
She's the dreamer behind Just Peculiar, always looking for those unusual finds that feel perfectly at home in our peculiar corner of the internet.
Her mission? To create a place where the wonderfully curious feel right at home.
Amy: The Creator
Always building, creating and bringing ideas to life, Amy is the hands-on heart of Just Peculiar.
Whether she's making, packing or solving the next challenge, she's happiest with a project on the go and believes the best things are made with care, creativity and a little bit of determination.
Together, we're two sisters with different personalities, different styles and one shared love of things that are anything but ordinary.
And with Craig lending a hand behind the scenes, Just Peculiar really is a family affair.
